Claude Code Remote
Claude Code from any browser
Run Claude Code on one machine and drive it from a browser on any other. Watch the sessions already running, or start new ones. Stays on your machine, behind a password.
It finds the projects and sessions in your Claude Code history by itself. Sessions started in the terminal or VS Code show up read-only, and update live while Watch is on. Sessions you start in the browser are interactive Claude Code sessions, and they survive a page refresh.
Use it from a phone, a tablet or a second computer: any browser that can reach the machine.
What it does
- Finds your projects and sessions on its own, from the Claude Code history in
~/.claude/projects. - CLI sessions: a read-only view of the Claude Code sessions on the machine, started from the terminal or VS Code, live while Watch is on.
- Web sessions: fully interactive Claude Code in the browser, kept across page refreshes and reconnects.
- Uses the Claude Code login you already have.
What it doesn't do
- No server in between. It runs on your machine, next to Claude Code.
- No API keys to add.
- No copies elsewhere: your sessions and credentials stay on the machine, and the app sends them to no third-party server. Claude Code itself still talks to Anthropic, as it always does.
- No way in without the password you set on first launch. Only a hash of it is stored, on the machine, in
~/.claude-code-remote/.
Good to know
- Set the password before you expose it: until one is set, whoever reaches it first sets it.
- It listens on every network interface, so devices on the same network can reach it. From farther away, use a tunnel such as ngrok.
- Web sessions start in Bypass permission mode, where Claude runs tools without asking. Pick Default or Plan in Settings to approve them yourself. It goes back to Bypass when the page reloads.
- An independent project, not made by Anthropic.
